As long as I can remember I have been passionate about decorating for the holidays. As a child, I lived in the states for two years and I remember being mesmerized by all the amazing decorations. I am inspired by these memories when I decorate and by my many visits to German Christmas markets with its amazing atmosphere.

In the autumn of 2019, I started an Instagram account where I posted my decorations, and I came in contact with Christmas lovers all the world. It dawned on me that I was far from alone in liking the “more is more” way of decorating.

When I decorate, I prefer to use wired ribbon because it’s so easy to work with and anyone can  make a professional looking bow in no time. My only problem was that I had a really hard time finding wired ribbon in Sweden so I had to order from abroad, mainly from the U.S. And let me tell you, the shipping cost was more expensive than the ribbon itself…

So, I started thinking. If I buy ribbon for myself and already have gone through several suppliers, and qualities, why not import larger quantities so that everyone in Scandinavia can get easy access to this type of ribbon (and I get to work with something that I am passionate about, yay!)

Said and done. In the autumn of 2020, the idea of ​​My Holly Decco began to emerge and on March 1, 2021, the webshop was launched. The premiere exceeded my expectations by far and for Easter I started to get enquiries from people outside of Scandinava.. This made me ready to take the next step and lounge the webshop in English. I want it to be possible for everyone outside of Scandinavia as well to buy wired ribbon in an easy way.

My goal with My Holly Decco is to always have a wide range of decor ribbon in stock but also to expand with other holiday decorating products such as picks and sprays.
